All the employees with cars should be turned into delivery drivers. And they just drop the groceries at the door, ring the bell and then go back to their cars. I think it will definitely help.

Or alternatively, you order your groceries online/by phone and the employees go grab everything and put it in your trunk when you get there. They upcharge for instore pickup too. You also have the issue of the employees not calling for substitutions in your order. My friend ordered store brand eggs (~$3). The employee substituted organic, free range brown eggs (~$7). He could handle that because he's a programmer working from home, but if you're on a fixed income? It'll wreck your finances. I placed an order from Target and the employee fucked up multiple things (instead of getting a variety pack, she bought full size bags of everything in the pack; bought multiples of items when only one was requested; didn't call for any of these changes). I'm sure she had a ton of orders to fulfill, so I'm not too upset, but not everyone can afford for the bill to be twenty dollars higher than expected. Also, a lot of places offering in store pickup have no available windows for a week out. If you need groceries today... you can't wait til Saturday to pick them up. ... Copied to Clipboard!
