I used to enjoy the spiciest of the spicy, now my stomach can't handle it. :( If I eat spicy, I'll be shitting for 5 years straight.

I missed it when my gallbladder was giving me trouble and I had to avoid it to avoid being in all-consuming pain constantly, x.x . After I got it took out I was able to start freely eating my spicy foods again, though.

too much spicy food is linked to some cancers in the digestive tract or whatever anyway. you're not supposed to overdo it

Same. I have to use my favorite hot sauce sparingly. Inflamed guts is among the most uncomfortable feelings I've experienced and it only started happening once I hit my 30s.

probably thousands of years Lol, so me and the rest of our family just lost it after a few generations? My great great grandparents were from Mexico. My great grandparents and grandparents kept on with the traditional Mexican spicy dishes, and ate them until their death, basically. Now us grandchildren aren't able to do it like they did. ...
