When do I start seeing bamboo plants and shit? I got a hearth DIY recipe and a bamboo shoot lamp recipe but I've yet to come across any yet.

Should be noted that I'm currently in the process of getting K.K. to play at the island. My rating's only 2 stars right now.

you can find bamboo on a mystery island or get someone to trade you some shoots to plant and grow your own

Ah, guess I should start grabbing nook miles tickets a little more often. I actually got a tarantula island once, but I freaked out because I wasn't prepared and instead of seeing it as a gold mine, I thought it was a nightmare lol

I really dropped the ball there and missed an opportunity to make serious cash.

I don't think I've gotten a single cherry blossom recipe for anything other than the first one you get. I haven't really bothered catching the petals that much either. I'm sitting on mountains of eggs though and recipes for their ugly furniture!

Or is there an optimal way to sell it and make bells? Like craft wood blocks or something then sell those?

Also, do you have to progress to a certain point before you get to go to better islands? I have been to 4 mystery islands so far, and they have all been Cherry fruits and Tulip flowers, exactly what is native to my island.

If the hot item for the day at the shop is something you have a surplus of materials for, then craft a bunch of them and sell. Even if it's not a particularly high end item, money is money.

Lots of recipes use wood, but theres no real "optimal" way to sell it. Unless its a hot item, things you craft sell for 2 times the amount of what you would get from selling the amount of materials you used to craft it.

@Irony yeah, get the materials together then pm me a dodo code and ill come by and do it, and then im gonna take a look at your shops if theyre open still. Might help if you drop a crafting table near the airport as well

If you need to know the mats its 11 petals, 2 hardwood, 3 weeds, and 3 clay all together

How can I get more storage? Need more room can I put them on an actual furniture? I was hoping the clothes would go into the wardrobe but no they are still in the storage taking up room

Giant water bugs creep me out, but I had an island tonight that was full of them and for 2000 bells each that wasn't too bad.

I'm disappointed that I barely got any cherry blossom stuff, having the event coexist with the egg bullshit was a bad move.

The two events dont interfere with each other though, CB stuff is exclusively in regular solid color balloons, Egg day stuff is exclusively in the multicolor balloons
