What kind of blows me away was Australia was on fire and they lost an insane amount of wildlife and the US seems to care very little. It hardly got publicity here and it was a devastating, historical natural disaster.

I do avoid eating pigs for reason, but I have heard for a long time how close they are to us genetically for some time. The US has got to get it's shit together in this regard as well.
