lmao , wtf is this shit. for real it was obvious from the start that some form of mask is better than none. where was a reason why were being told to sneeze into a sleeve or a tissue or something so no shit if there are droplets in the air you would want a mask to minimized getting that shit but for some reason people were pushing the 'masks dont do shit bro, the WHO said so' meme

The only person saying that is Fat Donnie and even he immediately said he wouldnt.

Masks are to stop you spreading it when you are sick. Cloth masks as was recommended dont do anything.

BBC reporters that made it out of Wuhan without being infected understood something a lot of simpletons don't-- a mask of any kind and goggles can keep you from touching your mouth, nose and eyes.

I never understood why masks were discouraged. I understand they don't have much protection for you personally, but isn't the idea of how we are combating this is by treating everyone like they're infected? I mean that's the entire reason we have to social distance, to treat yourself and other as if you know they have the disease. Wouldn't masks apply to that? You wear them to protect others from what you have regardless of whether you have it or not. No they won't protect you from a cough to the face, but if you have one on and the other person has one on, doesn't that offer some significant protection?

You wear the masks to stop yourself from getting infected from people who are asymptomatic. If you're infected, you should literally not be anywhere in public if possible or in a hospital getting treatment.
