In DND terms, what is the difference between intelligence and wisdom? Book smart vs. Street Smart. Intelligence is how much you know. In DND terms, what is the difference between intelligence and wisdom? Intelligence is a combination of accumulated knowledge and ability to logically reason and create solutions to a problem. A smart person can rig a trap or solve a puzzle with ease. This is typically better in the short-term. Wisdom determines application of knowledge. The higher it is, the more likely your application will be effective. Wisdom also aids ones awareness of the situation and people around them. A wise person can determine who is telling the truth or use past experience to navigate the long-term. My favorite way to put it is: A smart person can determine when they have the right of way to cross the street. A wise person will still look both ways before crossing, even if they have the right of way. --- Number of Mega Cookies given: (::::) 29 *Tips top hat, adjusts monocle, and walks away with a cane.* And yes, that IS Mr. Peanut laying unconscious on the curb ...
