Yep. The day I saw how fucked things truly were. Companies brag about record profits but can't give their workers enough money to get by.

And then you have people defending this "It's not supposed to be a living!" or "Just get a better job", ignoring the fact that the situation being discussed shouldn't exist in a first world country.

Yep it's like a one trillion dollar company pops up and they did some fancy new nice things here and there now they're all of a sudden untouchable entities as big and as strong as governments. Just put that company and it's workers on an island on it's own it would resemble a society with indentured servants. People forgot that we fought for worker's rights already nearly 100 years ago...
