..by the coronavirus that you might quit your job? I mean like an area very hard hit by it? Even if you had protective equipment, do most of you think you might quit your job?

I wouldn't because being a nurse of a doctor would somehow mean I care enough about people to do the job in the first place. It comes with the territory.

I wouldn't quit, but I'd be super pissed at the gross lack of equipment and wanting to kick anyone trying to suggest "Everything's fine".

Not sure I could stand being in the medical field in the US. Too many people think they know more than people who spent 8+ years studying the subject.

Doctors who are doing it for the money wouldn't be in a position where they would treat Coronavirus anyway. The highest paid doctors are specialists for Anesthesiologists, Cancer, and Brain Surgery. A lower stress job like Psychiatrist also pays well without having to deal with most of the shit other specialists do.

Me and germs of any kind don't mix. Add people that I don't give a fuck about into the mix and it's a recipe for disaster.

I'd be damned if I take ultra care of myself and body, only to be infected by some rando who coughs out into the world any any semblance of decency to cover his/her fucking mouth.

I can't quit. I can't just turn my back on my workmates and patients who depend on me. If everyone in medicine did that, we'd truly be toast.
