Democrats wanted to give everyone money at this time to help them with the pandemic. Repubs said no because Dems weren't excluding gays.

Repubs wants to give only certain people money once while bailing out corps, pushing religious agendas that have nothing to do with this pandemic, and overall basically play politics with people's lives.

Suggesting those two are the same gives doubt to your words being sincere.

Dems aren't angels, but they're well above the other side in this.

Alright, so based on all the extra garbage McConnell and cronies attempted to cram in, are we all in agreement this bill was just political theater? There's no way he actually thought that would pass, so he took advantage of the situation to try and make Dems look bad. Could have used that time to make a package that both parties would agree to.

That was something brought up before, but the last I read was that there was a provision about abstinence-only education which also feeds into their backwards sexual education and sexual freedom beliefs so they threw in at least one or two bullshit provisions.

Thanks for the lead. It looks like that was in regards to the second bill. Not sure why its being trumpeted about in regards to the third bill except for dramatic effect.

They both need to shut the fuck up and get checks to people who are in a desperate position right now without tacking on their agenda. They can argue about federal lines of credit and Grant's to solar energy and art institutes later. People are in a panic and that's not gonna get better when a large chunk of the workforce cant pay their Bill's next month because they lost their job with no notice.
