Shapeshifters like T-1000 and T-X might look hard at the beginning, but once the Borg got its hands on the first Cybernetic Organism, it should be able to start reverse engineer Skynets communication protocols and take control of them that way. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site. I'm pretty sure the Borg assimilate technology, we just don't see them do it very often because they're either on par with or better equipped than the Federation. There's the episode Drone, for instance, where Borg nanites infect the Doctor's mobile emitter - technology from the 29th century - and creates a drone based on 29th century technology. It's said that the Borg will relentlessly pursue Voyager to gain access to the drone's technology.
