I got some bad news for those people. There's a reason why no one in the media has set a timeline. The estimated say we need to isolate for months if not a year. Imagine the panic that would cause. But that's the truth. You all will see over time.

I told you guys a month ago that this thing would become widespread in the US and that it was gonna be bad. No one believed me. I'm telling u guys now, anywhere from 100 to 160 million people will be infected, and over a million will die.

I'm saying the viruses don't spread as easily in the warmer weather and will help phase it out, not eradicate it completely. Look at the spread of the disease - the southern hemisphere countries barely have any cases compared to the rest of the world

The thing is @REMercsChamp you could be right in that it won't spread easily during the hotter months but keep in mind that you're not dealing with it, you're just slowing it down.

What's stopping it from getting really spreading when fall comes and things start getting cooler? Do you think that once summer is over that this situation is going to disappear?

You guys remind me of stock market bears who when things are going bad assume the world is ending, panic, sell all your stocks and lash out at people who tell you it's temporary and will turn around. And then things finally turn around and they turn around very quickly. Will it happen today? No. Tomorrow. No. Within the next coming months? Almost certainly. You can look at China and Korea for countries who got over it and what happened with them.

The world isn't ending, this will end, but you are being a bit delusional to this situation. If I had to guess just base on what I've been reading, most places will probably feel a little normal by June. For places like New York City, the places that will have large numbers of infected, this could last until the Fall.

Dr Fauci had an excellent interview on facebook live where he said it will be at least several weeks. He's basing it off china and how long it took them to surge then come down - about 2 months. But china did extreme measure to isolate people. They welded people in. They sprayed bleach on the streets. They shut down entire cities. They are an authoritarian government so they can do that. We can't. We have a lockdown in what like 2 or 3 states? Even there people aren't following the rules. And people are still flocking to crowded areas to party. And essential services can never be stopped. So 2 months is really optimistic if every single person in america actually locks down and obeys excellent hygiene measures and thats literally impossible.

He also acknowledged that a vaccine will take 12-18 months. You can have a paradoxical effect sometimes where a vaccine can make the disease worse.

Thats why I've been saying this can last several months to a year (based on how non-compliant so many americans are) and based on how far away a vaccine is. But Fauci can't say that because he's on the task force and that would cause alot of panic.

I'm also looking at the London Imperial College models which also estimate 12-18 months of shit show until it gets better. Basically we need a vaccine that works.
