Yes, but other believers who can encourage and lift us up arent everywhere. Church gives us a weekly gathering of friends, family, and fellow believers.

What is it about religion and belief that stirs up the spite in someone? I thought only Christians were judgmental.

The people are the church. The building is for people to communicate and worship together. When 2 or more gather that's what matters. Like every community like minding people get together.
