Yet through either his own intentions or sheer dumb luck, the US has gotten into less wars than it did under Obama with secretary of state Hillary.

Honestly it hard to say. Trump ignored it because he thought is was example #3841 of leftist hysterics over any minor threat to their safety. On the other hand, I could see her side being to afraid to risk profiling or just economically upsetting China, stopping measures that could have stopped the spread when something could have been done.

Understand I also expect political demands to switch depending on who is in power, so I could see this as nothing gets done because Republicans are in a panic, but who wants to give in to their fears (because they're all just based in racism) so forget screening people coming in for infectious disease, or cutting back ties to the originating country.
