He's like 25, the prime of his life. He has no job from what I understand. Last job he had he was selling beds. I think he might be living with his sister and her husbands house. Just NEETING off them. Anyways, he's one of those dudes that parties hard, travels and just goes off to all these events all the time even though still being broke. He has a hot girlfriend but she got like 3 kids and he has a kid of his own. I mean, it's really none of my business and he's a grown adult already but I wonder how he does it.

tl;dr he's basically one of the people who is broke as fuck but always seems to live a decent party life.

Eventually his sister will drop him. My sis is a year younger than me (34) and if she was like that in my place I'd give her a few months to get a job (many min wage are hiring) and she'd have to pay me a minor rent. It's not a free ride once you're legally able to work and can work.

In the case of the relative the sister needs to charge rent to the guy. You're not helping any adult out by them taking advantage of you like that. I can't stand when people take advantage.

I dunno, I've stepped into a relative's business before and it went bad. Ended with her saying something like "So are you gonna pay my bills?".

You should mention the drug thought to her. Other than that I wouldn't step in. It's his sister's problem and if she wants to keep a moocher around her choice her place.

Another thing is I am decently close to his parents. Every time I ask how their kids are they just say "They're all adults now they can do whatever they want".

TBH, I don't think he's selling drugs. He might have a job but it's prolly like a minimum wage job or something but still not nearly enough to have cookouts, drink big bottles of Jamisons and travel and the likes.

Since it doesn't affect you directly and is a "distant" relative I'd really not bother with much effort. It's like if she was doing bad parenting. If it was your sibling you could say something, but once again expect backlash especially since it's not your child. Let people handle their own mess and you should focus on you. You'll just stress yourself out worrying about others.
