Wednesday woke up with a cough and chills. Drank some whiskey before bed. Thursday was a lil worse, drank some whiskey before bed. Today was a lil better, drinking whiskey, feel fine.

Joking aside, whiskey is both an antiseptic, and an anti-inflammatory agent. There's a reason why gargling it helps sore throats/throat infections.
