It's annoying to have advertising in the videos, but it isn't that hard to skip over them.

I think it was at least clever that he mentions a specific Netflix horror movie people would want to see that is region locked in the US for some reason, so I have to give him props for that, unless ExpressVPN told him to say that specifically or something...

How Express VPN work (my friend gets sponsored by them) is that when they first sponsor your video, they give restrictions to what you can say and do. It isn't until the second time they give you more creative freedom on what you can say like turn it into a skit or give more "practical" uses of it like using it for region locked services. They also give you a 30 day free trial so you can experience their "service" and use the positive as part of the ad. He only got sponsored 3 times and it was a few months ago so maybe the way they do it is changed now.

James is pure nostalgia, doesn't really give a shit about video games in general now. Mike is the one who only really plays the games (in fact in some behind the scenes things, a lot of the gameplay footage is mike playing. Most gameplay footages of dying or gameovers are from James himself). The only reason he's pigeon holed in playing video games is because of the AVGN brand.

speaking of avgn, how many of y'all either saw the movie or tried to get through it but couldn't finish? man i actually looked forward to it even though it had some random people who'd never show up ever again and oooof.....movie was a mess

i laughed a couple of times but man i remember thinking....."this ain't good"

i definitely thought the dude could've been way more humble in the movie too.....movie legit had a scene where some random fangirl with big tits asks the nerd to sign her tits.....like wat

there's just so many things wrong with that movie, it's no wonder james rolfe never talks about it :/
