As in, you died to a boss and have to go from the nearest bonfire back to the boss.

Ive always hated Seath in 1 because you have to kill the Clams or theyll follow you into the arena.

Hardest I cant see any other answer than Frigid Outskirts to Ludd and Zallen. In general boss runs aren't hard since you're just running to the boss, as the name suggests. This one more than anything tries to impede you in doing that.

Most frustrating one is easily the Hunter's Nightmare to Laurence.

Demon's Souls 4-2
From just after Adjucator to Old Hero through those old ruins, ghost things that hit hard walling narrow paths, proto-bonewheel skeletons.

Seath's a bad one too.

DS2 DLC had a lot of these with the worst one being Lud and Zallen and the Frigid Outskirts. Blue Smelter Demon and the Iron Passage sucked and Gank Squad and the caverns packed with poison and petrify enemies wasn't very fun.

DS2 had a lot in general, come to think about it, mostly just because enemies can interrupt you walking through boss fog. So any time you want to run to the boss and not kill stuff on the way it has the potential to be really annoying. Executioner's Chariot, Smelter Demon, and Looking Glass Knight especially. Only plus there is that base game bosses aren't too hard so you shouldn't need to be running back to them very often.

Lud and Zalen

I was on like NG 7 when I got to them the firs time. I spent a day just nuking the horses so they would not respawn.

That's the thing. DK2 had some turrible runs, but at least you could clean the trash out.

I really didn't like the run to Bed of Chaos. Have to trudge through the beginning of Demon Ruins, lose health to fire, dodge zombie butts, maneuver through Demon Ruins itself and the annoying branches, all for a terrible boss fight that can one-shot you due to poor mechanics.

It's easier to just make a cloud save copy at the door.

Lud and Zallen
Blue Smelter Demon
Seath
Bed of Chaos

Those are the worst I can think of. Bloodborne and DS3 fixed most of the horrible boss run ups

Bloodborne didnt have any bad ones, maybe the Shadows but all the snakes are slow as shit to run right past.

It's not the hardest by difficulty, but the run to kalameet wins for the most obnoxiously long.
