Just beat Control, it was pretty good. 7.5/10ish.

I only have two trophies left for the platinum but I doubt I'll bother getting them, they're kind of grind-y.

speaking of modding, i want to continue playing Deadly Premonition but i was distracted yesterday and this morning because of working on my Morrowind housemod. i finally figured out a non-supertedious way to separate my one bloated 4400 object cell into 9 different cells to alleviate the choppy framerate problem. that was a huuuuge hurdle that i thought was going to be very difficult to get past, but after inquiring yesterday on the Morrowind Modding discord server about the least tedious way to do it and getting a great answer, i'm already done doing it! i thought that was gonna be weeks of work repositioning pretty much each object individually.

this housemod being complete seems a lot closer now than it has in a long time.

i had planned for it to be in Balmora when i started out but it's gotten so massive that it would take way too much alteration to the landscape to make it fit in there, and it would look out of place even if i did, since it and the surrounding grounds (side yard, barrier wall, etc) are about the size of the entire manor district in Balmora combined lol. i haven't 100% made up my mind yet but i think i am going to put it on the other side of the ridge south of Balmora (i think it's south?).

it's inspired heavily by Victorian era manor houses. here are a couple of image galleries i've posted of it before. the first one is of the exteriors and is relatively recent and up to date, and the second is of the interiors but is quite old from back when i first started working on it and is outdated in a lot of ways, since i've worked on the interiors a ton since then, but i haven't done an updated image gallery for that yet:

I like the outer walls and the way the windows look, it looks like its own thing but still fits within Morrowind. The interiors are cool, I like the dining table place settings. Lot of attention to detail.

Greedfall and its surprisingly great. Feels like a last gen Bioware rpg, which is great!

Man I remember bound by flame, and that was some legit jank. But it had heart. This game is like an evolution of that one. I really like this company. Their goals are exactly what I want to see more of, but they just dont have quite the budget to get rid of the jank. I'm rootin for them.
