Me, my gf, the realtor, and the finance guy all met up today and talked about what we wanted to see out of the whole thing. Got all my documents over to them already and he's giving me good signs and stuff that I could get a 30-year with a 3% interest rate for like a 325k house. Which is pretty fuckin baller tbh. I'm stoked

One thing to keep in mind Tim, our house after down payment was $144k, and we're paying about $1k a month on our mortgage, which should jump a couple hundred in the next month or two with our first year of up-front insurance and taxes payment wearing off.
So some really rough math - you'd be looking at something like a $2k a month payment with what you're talking about. Be really, really careful that you don't get yourself into a situation where you can't comfortably make those payments. --- Posted with GameRaven 3.5.1 ... Copied to Clipboard!
