PSA for anyone who wants to get it according to the event post they had you will get the game for free once you download and open the game at least once and you cannot receive a free game pass in this promotional period if you already own a Black Desert Online game pass of any kind.

I assume the game will want to link/make a BDO account once you run it the first time so just pressing the buy on the steam store might not be enough.

Edit: Apparently you can also get it for free by logging in the site (without using steam, in case you don't want the steam version or something)

Black Desert? I heard lots of people started playing on a private server.

I dont know what BDO has become but I had a friend who liked it around when it first came out and I had to really stage an intervention to get him to stop spending money on the game.

He didnt spend, like, thousands on it. But I could tell the money he was spending was useless and it didnt seem like the company gave very good rewards or anything for his money.

It think partial just means it only works in the menu. I heard good things about this one but don't have the time for it.

Found it eventually at least, it needs to be enabled. But sucks because it doesn't show controls in the game.

I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm sure I'll lose interest in not too long. Once I get to really grindy nonsense is when my interest will taper out.
