I've been contemplating on buying the newest OnePlus and I'm interested in seeing other's opinion on this phone.

I had a OnePlus 3. I eventually switched away because it uses a proprietary fast charging standard so it was very difficult to find generic chargers & cables that were compatible with fast charging.

The phone was otherwise fantastic to use and the newer versions are just upgrades without having changed much since OnePlus 3.

Best phone ever. Pop-up came is a plus because you get a full screen experience.

Absolutely 100% would pick OP over Samsung any day. I don't technically own a Samsung, it belongs to my employer, but I've used their phones for 6 years now and every time I have to interact with it it's just misery all around.
