25 y/o Actress, Olivia Liang has been cast as the CW female lead in the 1970's and 90's reboot of Kung Fu The Legend Continues that originally starred David Carradine as a monk who returned from China to help fight crime in San Francisco, California!!

Olivia is recently seen on the CW's Legacies and in this spinoff she will drop out of college and go on a life changing journey to an isolated monastery in China until she returns back home to see her city is overrun with crime and corruption and uses her martial arts skills and Shaolin values to protect her community and bring justice all while searching for the assassin who killed her mentor...

She joins Tzi Ma and Kheng Hua Tan who will play her parents as well as Jon Prasida, Shannon Dang and Eddie Liu

This is the first CW series on an all asian cast and is unusual for a network that caters to a mostly youth audience. They have already picked up the pilot for Jared Padelecki's Walker Texas Ranger Reboot

The Pilot will film in Vancouver this March
