I'm a 30 yo virgin and probably won't ever get laid.

I tried to in college when I was in the dorms but always got rejected/friend zone even by women who aren't the best looking I say as if I had any grounds to judge appearances on.

I worked out never got big but I use to be super cut, got along with most girls but I just wasn't the type of person they find sexually appealing in terms of looks, confidence, and they way I carrry myself.

The only compliment I ever got on my physical appearance was my crush saying I have nice abs but she wasn't interested in a realationship with me or anything.

Guys gotta have a certain game and charm/charisma otherwise they're fucked on getting fucked.

well if you think of the opposite(40 year old female virgin) it almost always screams religious nutjob who refuses to have sex until marriage, because she made a "promise to herself when she was 15 years old". I mean if the 40 yr/o virgin goes like "I am a virgin" he is an idiot.

He just has sex with her and... she will find out he was TERRIBLE and that he probably um, finished within 20 seconds of hitting the happy place and she will work out he was a virgin. By then she will dump him for not being good at sex (not for being a virgin, though it means the same) but he will be a non-virgin with the next middle aged, cankle-having divorcee with 3 kids (since he is 40 himself)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with refraining from premarital sex. However, if you get to 40 and still haven't gotten married, you've got more the virgin stink on you. At that point, you've got the "No one wants to be with this guy!?" stink on you.

- A woman/man wants to be with someone experienced. But there are some who don't mind teaching/guiding, as long as that conversation happens.
- Men talk about wanting xyz in terms of a relationship but don't actually do anything to make those wants a reality.
- Mental road block. At 40 years old, values and what is important change.
- If you are with someone but can't openly talk about sex or sexual preferences to better understand each other, this area of life won't get to where you want it to be.
- This label of "virgin" becomes an insecurity preventing someone from making that connection. Like wondering if your experienced partner will compare your newly acquired skills to previous sex partners.
- Different views. Some people view sex as a need and intimate acts of cuddling are more personal than sex. Some also don't view sex as a "leveling up" achievement but a deeper connection that isn't made with just anyone.

Everyone has their own reason why they might not have had that connection yet. Some of these posted claims of religion or being just creepy could be true. But whatever the reason, who are we to judge?
