The stupid part is that he made an interview just before his diagnosis. He was coughing heavily throughout it.

That interviewer is walking freely, no quarantine measures, still interviewing people

Iran is refusing to perform any large-scale quarantines for whatever reason, in part because it would be a giant scandal if they had to close off holy sites. They're also arresting people who were talking about it. So they're basically just going to let the virus run rampant in the Middle East.

The most revered, the Hazrat Masumeh shrine, is visited by millions of Shia Muslim pilgrims every year from all over the world.

People have been advised to avoid unnecessary gatherings, and asked not to travel to Qom, but there is no outright closure of religious sites in the city.

The custodian of the Hazrat Masumeh shrine has said that people see it as a source of recovery and healing so it cannot be shut down.

Iranian police have arrested 24 people accused of spreading rumours about the coronavirus online, AFP news agency reports.
A further 118 internet users were "talked to and let go" with warnings, the head of Iran's cyberpolice force Vahid Majid said.
