I think that a big crash like in 08 would make Sanders easily more electable and people would be more open to his economic changes.

This dip is based on fears of the virus hampering economic activity, its more likely to make oil/gas prices go down if the downturn keeps going (gas in my area in 2008 went from 4.25 in August to 1.55 in October).
