I do this with almost everything. Even non-food items. I always open the cases for video games to examine the discs once I get in my car directly after making the purchase. Other people have told me this is weird, but one time when I did this while still in my car there was no disc in the case. I had literally paid $60 for a video game case with no disc. Naturally, I went back in and they didnt believe me at first because it sounds like an obvious scam. But once they looked at the time stamp on the receipt and other things they gave me a refund because there were no other copies of the game left. It would have been a hell of a lot harder to convince them I was telling the truth had I not opened the case a few minutes after my purchase.

Hey few weeks ago I said screw it and didnt check my order from Taco Bell....I ordered the dozen taco box of soft supreme.Got home and they were all hard shell.I was so pissed I thought about driving back but I had a few beers.

ordered a new 2ds xl on a clearance sale from a pretty reputable retailer and they sent me a fucking empty box. i had to send the box back but since they ran out what with it being clearance and all they couldn't send me another one and just refunded me my money.

Local pizza place always opens up the box and shows you before you leave with it... which probably isn't a bad idea on their part.

But yeah I probably should check stuff like that and fast food orders but I never do. I don't remember ever having anything too bad happen with pizza, but it really sucks to get shorted an item/completely wrong item in a fast food order. I've probably lost out on something better more often than not but a few times I ended up with a better/more expensive item when I got home, so I guess that's nice. >_>

One time I didn't check and they gave me a bunch of cockroaches instead of a pizza. Lesson learned.

I have been to our local Burger King 12 times and EVERY. SINGLE. TIME....they *** up my order.

I never complain either, at this point I think it's a conspiracy. Sometimes it ends with me missing out on food, sometimes I get extras so I won't complain until I have a negative balance, because I work in food and I know mistakes happen but TWELVE TIMES IN A ROW.

NO EXAGGERATION.

So yes, I check my order there but sometimes I'm in a hurry or forget.
