lolno. Those games are a licensing nightmare. They're never getting rereleased again. Piracy or buying old copies is basically the only way to play them again

Saying Tony Hawk 1 is bad is like saying Super Mario Bros is bad because we have Mario 3 and SMW

There could easily be a Tony Hawk Maker game similar to Mario Maker with different styles.

Not sure about best level but 4 is definitely the last good Tony Hawk game.

Thug is good after is not but American Wasteland is playable

It's pretty clear what I meant though. A Tony Hawk Maker game where you could make a level more or less in the TH1/TH2 style, TH3/TH4 style, and THUG/THUG2 style would be much more appealing than a Tony Hawk Maker game with just the THUG2 style.

American Wasteland was the last decent one. I couldn't get into Projecg 8 and Proving Ground was so bad. I blame Activision for whipping Neversoft into the ground with yearly releases

THUG/THAW are just straight upgrades to the previous games

THAW is NOT an upgrade to the engine in THUG2. Something is off about it and it isn't as tight as Thug2's is.

Thug 2 suffered from it's story. I loved jackass and Viva la bam but I just didn't enjoy this game

THUG2 definitely had the most content if you looked past the dumb story >_> Story mode was a nice fusion of classic and modern Tony Hawk missions, there was classic mode, create-a-goal, better create-a-park, create-a-trick, like 14 levels with a bunch remade from 1-3. That's why it's one of my favorites

I mean I played it and 100% it but I just liked THUG 1 more

I didn't like thug1's levels that much. NJ is okay, NYC is boring, Tampa is awful aside from the tiny skate park in the middle, San Diego is one of the worst levels ever in the series, Hawaii is fun, Vancouver is boring, Skate Jam is alright, Moscow is alright, Hotter than Hell is ehhhh.

Plus the story missions themselves are pretty dumb imo >_> They can get tedious at times like mowing grass in Vancouver or spine transfering over that TV dish like 20 times in Moscow

Not really. I guess leaving the skateboard doesn't really matter (although it can affect combos) but in later games it's really easy to get insane scores with tons of manual tricks.

By that logic what is the point of having 4 styles in Mario Maker + 3D World when you could have all the same features in two or one styles if you don't count the graphics?

More options leads to inherently different gameplay.

I liked THUG1 levels. THUG1 also had a better story than THUG2 obviously.

I'm glad people have finally stopped hating on THUG2 because they didn't like the story. That went on for years. I think more people in general like Jackass MTV also.

There was absolutely no need to give these games a story, I remember getting THUG without reading any reviews and being very disappointed and confused by what I was presented with.

Thug2 was fantastic. Who cares about the story, it's a small part of the game.

Everything else was amazing.

As a teen with a board at the time, I loved the story. I was never going to be good enough to land sponsorship, so being able to be pro felt awesome
