That translates to about a $72,800/year salary, though of course this assumes you're getting 40 hours every week. Only you can say if that means "good money" for you or not.

It's definitely better than average American.. but in terms of standard of living like affording an apartment or a house, depends on where you live. In California you can't get by yourself with a one bedroom apartment for these days comfortably without making closer to six figures.

Good rule of thumb is to spend no more than 33% of your income for rent
