The True Knot still have a few people left and Dan takes the fight to them, though the fight does take place in a campground that used to be the Overlook. Danny weaponizes the steam and at least one of the Overlook ghosts to kill off the remaining members. He beats Rose with the help of Jack Torrance's ghost. The epilogue is my favorite part, where Danny admits to his AA group that he stole money from a coked out single mother, which had been haunting him ever since, and no one judges him because everyone in sobriety has demons.
