I really don't see the ghibli in any of this, if anything i see wind waker with its coloring and shading style, also really seems more like rune factory in a sense of a focus on adventure more than the farm bit.

The only real complaint I have for this remake is the camera is a little close for my liking. yeah story of season might be good or not, i don't know, but they lost me with the change of models and such, HM DS is the last one to use the usual HM models i love and care about :<
Stardew valley would be the best replacement ever if it wasn't because of the cardboard cut tumblr extracted villagers, i just don't care about any of them, the HM villagers at least had their fantasy charm, the stardew valley ones are just... shit, you play HM-like games to relax and enjoy the simplicity, not to worry about real life shit when you talk to the villagers with their real life-like drama... --- ... the draw from harvest moon to stardew valley was extremely simple, a multiplayer harvest moon. as much as anyone wants to say it didn't, that's what sold stardew valley (although modability probably didn't hurt). literally what's the fucking point of this over-produced garbage? what's the draw?

Yeah HM DS has a shitload of bugs that went from really minor shit to actually breaking your game in a bad way until you lost your file, but i got lucky with the version of the game i got and it had just some of the minor yet game breaking bus (infinite money randomly triggered on winter for example)
