You might be right. Too bad she lives in Tennessee. I mean, I live in NC, so it's not THAT much of a stretch / drive, but uh...I dunno.

A letter is a heftier gesture than sending an email and a text. It really depends on what the letter actually says. I only send letters to women I really, really like btw.

So, it was nothing terribly intimate - it was more or less a friendly message. Still, I think the guy before me is right: that she wrote a letter and mailed it to some stranger she's never met in NC feels human. Like, actual effort was put into this. It's a bit naive, but I can't recall the last time someone wrote me a letter just to introduce herself. Apparently, this was her second attempt. The letter got lost in the mail the first time.

I'm going to repay this kindness and write a letter back. It's the only appropriate response, no? Plus, she's into philosophy like I am. Maybe I can introduce her to existentialism, and Christian existentialism (she was saved recently, and supposedly my story was the bedrock of her newfound faith).

I guess I'll keep CE in the know?
