I actually use to always get that feeling that there was people chatting far away but I couldn't hear anything in particular. I forgot about that >_>. But I think it was a very minor version, because ai never found it alarming. Pretty sure I was usually high too, so I could write it off on the drug. I've only ever hallucinationed from literally not sleeping for 4-5 days straight. Purposely, drugs again. Did drugs have anything to do with your experiences. Or was it all sober? Cause there was a dramatic difference between my first few panic attacks being on drugs and then having one without drugs. Looking back on it now it had become a seriously unhealthy relationship over time and both of us should have ended it long before it got as bad as it did, but when you're 19/20 years old and still with your first love it's hard to let go and make the rational, healthy and mature decision of moving on. Obviously that doesn't excuse cheating in the slightest, but it was a major life learning experience for me and I grew a lot as a person because of it.
