Finally finished the longest to complete and also best Kingdom Hearts game. I played through this back whenever it came out 2010 or whatever and loved it then and still love it now.

I split it up the 3 playthroughs doing 1 a month. I did Terra back in December, Ventus in January and Aqua over the past few days. I basically did everything you could do with each character and completed their journals as much as possible outside of the stuff that unlocks during the final chapter. Then after finishing Aqua I went back and got those last few things (mainly the final arena fights and the optional super bosses with character). It's basically 3 completely Kingdom Hearts games in one.

The hardest part, as I'm sure everyone familiar with the game already knows, was taking on Mysterious Figure with Terra. Unlike Ven and Aqua his dodge doesn't have a ridiculous amount of invincibility frames so you can't just spam it to avoid everything. You have to time your dodges perfecty if you want to go through attacks and generally avoid everything and heal up before he breaks through the Once Again ability. Then halfway through he can make himself invisible and you can no longer lock on to him, forcing you to dodge blindly and throw in a random thunder surge and hope it hits. Ended up taking me about 7-8 hours worth of attempts before I was able to beat him and finish this platinum off for good.

The main points of this platinum include:

• Complete the story on Critical Mode with all 3 characters including the final episode and secret episode.

• Completed the Journal with all 3 characters (Story, Secret Reports, Arena, Minigames, Hit Combos, Character Files, Unversed, Ice Cream, Command Collection, Treasures, Stickers)

I mean that's literally it, but so much is covered in the journal. All the bosses are in the character files and whatnot so you need to beat them to get them in there with each character.

Now I just need to watch all the cutscenes of Re:coded and I can finally put away this 1.5 + 2.5 Collection and move on to the 2.8 Collection.

oh yeah my time was at 109 hours when I completed everything except beating Mysterious Figure with Terra, but tack on another 20 to that where I'm just leveling up with him and attempting the boss over and over again.
