The Creators of a ROBOT claim it can detect the fatal CORONAVIRUS has been BANNED in NEW YORK after disturbing locals over it's "terrifying" apperance!!

The bot was designed to ask people questions including "have you had a fever in the last few days?"

It was let loose in Bryant Park where it was able to test out 3 passerbys before being stopped by security...

The 5 foot robot was created by Pennsylvania based Promobot and was banned after officers determined it lacked a permit

The robot was giving out protective masks as Founder Oleg Kivorkutsev who told the New York Post "We were trying to tell people about the virus. We're bringing attention to the problem"

Some described the bot as "cute" but it went "overkill" on the concerns of the coronavirus and asked PERSONAL QUESTIONS that made people uneasy

People said "A stand with an IPAD would have been enough.They do not need a whole robot"

There are currently 12 cases of the virus in the United States but so far no cases in New York with 31,000 people worldwide infected causing over 600 deaths, mostly in China
