I get this too. I just wait it out. It gets easier over time. I think as long as you don't feel like harming yourself or others you can possibly solo it. Don't be scared to ask for help tho

I don't get sad, but I do get randomly anxious and it has a similar effect

This is kind of what I was getting at. It's easier to operate with it there over time. Which can lead to you starting to do things you'd normally avoid. But if you just give into it 24/7, I can understand how you wouldn't get better at dealing with it. I fought it every step of the way. Which is what I meant by "solo" it. If you create an unrealistic goal of never being sad you're just not giving yourself a shot to become content again

My mind shifted at 28. I was miserable from 20-27. I hope you have a similar experience. At 28 I felt like I clicked into a new phase. My anxiety went down by like 90%. It wasn't overnight of course but at the same time it almost felt like it clicked overnight.

Im weird but I like to transfer my sadness by reading sad stories (real or fictional) or watching a sad movie or show and have a good cry afterwards, that having a cathartic moment and then moving forward. That is, giving myself something specific to be sad about rather than vague feelings of disappointment or dissatisfaction.

I feel like there is something beautiful in sadness and acknowledging the negative side of the human condition. That in order to fully appreciate the light and warmth of the day, you have to experience the cold dark night.

they replied to your it gets easier over time with not for them it hasnt. I replied on how it can, but feel I worded it wrong. Like I should have used one instead of you as not to imply that it will work for them that way as everyone is different. I just know for me bigger sadness made the smaller sadness feel inconsequential.

I edited it so it is better but maybe the end needs fixing still? I will leave it as it is close enough.
