There was some issue where people could take themselves offline and 'queue up' their attacks. Hopefully they're getting that fixed while it's closed

Fossils sometimes show up as field research. I would google them every month so you dont accidentally throw them out

cant remember which grunt. either the water or rock grunt.

i haven't encountered one yet. seen vulpix and ninetales
they really need a ice/dark grunt. had one around christmas time and love variety.

It's pissing me off too, I wasted a pass and only won 1/5 because 3 people were causing lag spikes. But the 5th one though, I got outplayed fairly.

i told the others to report the trainers who may be causing the exploit. had to do to the same against 2 trainers.

wanting those 4 wins for reasons. you get more stardust for wins on your rank reward goes from 2k to 4k if win a straight 5. looks like i'm going to have to grab more eggs (blazed through my whole supply in a day) need to find a swablu or two for altaria.

edit: premium pass is a great idea. most people get 2 wins in a league. that will guarantee the encounter.

I might use a premium pass on level 4. My only loss so far is because I accidentally didnt change my Beedrills quick move to Poison Jab. Still, I dont want to risk missing the guaranteed Scraggy.

Sinnoh Event is now live. Mostly Gen 4 Pokemon in the wild/raids, with new research that can get you Sinnoh Stones and Hippopotas.
Shiny Riolu/Hippos in the wild. 7km eggs have Gible, Riolu, and Hippopotas in them now, in addition to bunch of other garbage like Budew.

Ive never seen Riolu or Gible, so hopefully this event is actually useful lol.

if manage to get a Riolu he's great for the battle league if you can get his second move for 10k dust. i'm looking forward to snagging some budew. riolu and gible.

on the research reward. since the game gives you bonus candy for woobat.
use a pinap berry for the encounter. you'll double the bonus.

got 32 candy's out of that, we got curious why the professor congratulated us. forgot about the research breakthrough (the one time in which the professor gave out 5 berry's).

Drifblim shadow ball hits hard and that thing has loads of HP. Ghost typing hitting at least neutrally against the big 3 of the meta (Azumarill, Altaria, Skarmory) comes in handy. I did get punked by a Lucario that somehow knew Shadow Ball though, so watch out for that.

My Drifblim is only 147x and a buff would put it to exactly 1501 <_< but it is shiny so I see that as an absolute win

It's very handy for crippling various threats too. Clefable, Wigglytuff, Deoxys, Skarmory, Whiscash, Swampert Charizard, you name it and Icy Wind will guarantee a switch, and you can counter switch in return. Drifblim also completely walls most Bug, Grass, Fighting, Ground and Normal types, so it pairs very well with things like Swampert and Bastiodon, since both have exploitable double weaknesses.

mirror match's happen sometimes i had some the other day which i don't want to mention the pokemon other than "From the eevee family".

earlier got a 2-3 (only netted a sinnoh stone).
4-1 (encounter was scraggy)

the day will get salvaged. winds die down tonight and it wont rain (previous was no run tonight).
7k egg was combee (didn't want that).

affects whether or not i go outside :( but in that case affects the battles in gyms.
salvaged a run today very productive. arlo took 4-6 max revive from me tried metagross for mawile it had bite so i had to switch to blaziken took a few retry's to find the right combination

his team: mawile/charizard/salamence
my team: blaziken/rhyperior/ice mamoswine (didn't use the last one). sierra remains but gotta find 4 components.

yes. 3 sets of 5 battles. payout is too good if allowed unlimited battles (would require a ton of walking too).
losing in rank 7 0/5 gives 2k stardust.

and by exercising I mean leaving the game running because i live on floor 2 of a 7 floor building so the GPS drift racks up shitloads of km

Got stomped in Ultra League battles, lost 2 due to lucky type advantage on their part and 2 due to glitch/cheat connection issues, but won my last one by a hair.

I don't have much in the 2500 range and everything outside of starters is so expensive, and I spent almost all my dust maxing out some of my hundos. I'm fortunate to still have leftover Giratina-O, but I'd rather use a Giratina-A for Dragonbreath spam and Ancient Power for coverage and buffs.

My Aggron is in good shape but I tossed out a Sceptile that knew EARTHQUAKE. Didn't check the set before, the fuck.

Then a FireFang/Outrage Salamance.

Aggron came back out, I'm against a Donphan, we're both one real attack from dead.

He gets the attack off a split second before me, no shields. I'm thinking I'm fucked.

Man that Sinnoh Event was weak. There was a good amount of Hippopotas, but that was it. Didn't get any research for a Sinnoh Stone. Didn't see a single Riolu. Only found one Gible.

Valentine's Day event will probably be just as underwhelming lol. Double candy is nice, but not with the Pokemon they're going to be putting out for it.
