Still don't know why they didn't go after Trump for legit reasons, like why his kids are in the administration and making millions. Thanks to Fox news and other conservative media outlets, a large chunk of Americans never even heard that they found anything at all. Making money off of the presidency the way Trump and his family has done is wrong, but would most Americans know that? Or care, given that it had been going on the entire time? The phone call was blatantly illegal, was seen by many people, occurred recently, and had all kinds of people in and around the administration up in arms. That made it the best choice they could realistically make. If you watched something other than Fox News while the House was deliberating on impeachment, you would have seen a staggering number of credible witnesses and evidence. If you watched conservative media, you were told the House had nothing. When something uncomfortable came up during the Senate trial, they just didn't show it.
