Aaron Hernandezs fiance wishes the late NFL star-turned-killer had told her if he was secretly gay insisting in an interview that aired Wednesday that she would not have loved him any differently.

Shayanna Jenkins-Hernandez told Good Morning America that the hardest part about watching the Netflix docu-series Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez was the ongoing speculation on her exs sexuality before his suicide in jail.

She insisted that it would have been beautiful had he admitted any secret sexual feelings for men.

If he did feel that way, or if he felt the urge, I wish that I was told, Jenkins-Hernandez said, fighting back tears as she addressed the rumors.

And I wish that he wouldve told me cause I would not have loved him any differently. I would have understood.

Its not shameful and I dont think anybody should be shameful of who they are inside, regardless of who they love.

I think its a beautiful thing. I just wish I was able to tell him that, she insisted.

She has crappy vocab choices but she means "if he liked men as well, I would've been cool with it", I think.

Too little too late for Aaron, but if one's repressed sexuality is leading to a series of bad choices, then they ought to be willing to talk to their partner about it without fear of reprimand. (disclaimer -- I know nothing about his victim(s) or if his alleged sexuality played any role)

Money is more powerful then blood for a lot of people. Of course I don't know how much money she would actually get considered his contract was probably voided, and he didn't seem like the type to put his money away smartly.

Well she wasnt getting shit if the cash cow she'd tied her whole life to was doing life in prison.

I didnt really know how to judge the guy after watching the series. There is a lot about the guy's life that's tragic like his sexuality, personal losses, physical toll on his mind and body.

But most people deal with those things and never shoot multiple people over petty bull shit. I'm sure he wasnt right in the head but I don't have much sympathy for him. But I do feel bad for all the people who are still feeling the effects of all of this, including his daughter.

After she discovered him cheating on her, Jenkins moved out but returned in the summer of 2012. During Hernandez's trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd, it was claimed that Hernandez had flirted with and kissed the nanny who took care of his daughter. Jenkins testified in court that she wanted to make their relationship work, and that it required her to compromise on some of his behavior. She told police that she cooked and cleaned and she knew her role. Hernandez and Jenkins never married.

Also, I didnt really like how they handled the subject of his sexuality. I mean it seems to me he was pretty clearly bisexual at least. But the series sent a pretty clear message that he was a closeted gay man.

Just seems odd to me to make such matter of fact statements about someone's sexuality when they're dead and have no input to the conversation

The case was still open and in Massachusetts if you die while your case is open then they just close it since you arent there to defend yourself. They said in the doc that that could be a reason he killed himself

I heard she only got like 10k in Patriots money but im not sure on that

That was overturned on appeal to the Mass Supreme Court. He's legally and officially convicted of the murder.
