I would say cowboy bebop before the casting fucked up, but I would say at least the first two parts of JoJo...part 5 and 3 too maybe. Part 4 is the only one that wouldn't work.

I think a lot of rom-coms would work well, since they don't rely on animation as much.

I figured Gundam would be good in the right hands.
Then again, just like with any other pick, we all know they'd screw it up and completely miss the various messages and themes in it. They'd miss all the "war is hell" stuff and just make it about cool giant robots fighting. It would be another Transformers. Perfect Blue, but that's probably too easy of an answer. I'll go with Vampire Hunter D for an anime that's a little bit out there but can be believable with live actors.

Cowboy Bebop seems obvious, as does Trigun with maybe a bit more Western focus.

I think that Banana Fish could also make a good LA adaptation.
