The Saved by the Bell reboot is already full steam ahead..with only HALF of his its characters as Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley and Mark Gosselaar will be returning but Zack's wife, Kelly Kapowski played by Tiffani Thiessen, Lark Voorhies who played Lisa Turtle and estranged cast member, Dustin Diamond who played Screech will NOT be returning. However, returning is Ed Alonzo who played the waiter and owner of the teen's favourite hangout, The Max...

The teen hit sitcom in the late 80's to early 90's spawned a few spin off series and TV movies is set to come back to NBC streaming services as we are now learning that 2 younger cast members have been found including Zack's son, Mac Morris, played by Mitchell Hoog. He can be seen in 2 hits this year including Oscar Nominees Harriet and Richard Jewell and soon the next Conjuring Sequel

Also joining are the Bayside classmates including 28 y/o Dexter Darden and 18 y/o transgender actress, Josie Totah and Haskiri Velazquez

Notably missing is Tiffani Amber who has starred as Zack's love interest and is presumably the mother but since she is not returning, perhaps the stars were not aligned for the sweethearts who got married in college after the series was cancelled in the first season.

Josie will play "Lexi" as she is known for her recurring role on Disney Channel'sJessie and ABC's Back in Game. She recently came out as transgender last year

The new SBTB will pick up many years after the conclusion of the original series as it revisits Morris, Spani and Slater as it's not known if Spano and Slater are together but Zack Morris will now be the GOVERNOR OF CALIFORNIA
