This is insanity.

For all they know you're saving up for a wedding, house, trip, LITERALLY anything and don't want to burden yourself with a new monthly payment each month quite yet.

Not everyone likes to buy new cars every 4 years. I only got one recently because I had to. My 11 year old car wasn't quite what it once was and I could tell it was getting worse.

If it's running fine, then there's not an immediate need to replace it.
