This whole thing reminds me of CE during the Casey Anthony trial too. I'd point out they weren't proving their case, everyone was all like "lol doesn't matter she did it." and then she got off.

Like, you can make the argument Schiff can't make the case sure, but praising him for this pointless grandstanding is just fucking weird and really indicative of the times we live in.

That's all Congress is at this point. An endless parade of people taking their turn to get up and throw out a bunch of sound bytes they can use later for campaigning.

It's like when there's a hearing and Congress demands that the CEOs of a bunch of companies show up to answer questions. While I don't agree with them doing it, I can't exactly fault Executives dragged in front of Congress for a hearing who clearly don't take it seriously.

all this shows to me is that we have Congress divided by party lines and theres no in between anymore to get things done in this country. This been going on even with Obama and the resistance he had. a president has 1 or 2 terms to change and will fight for them changes by any means while party lines in Congress are continuing on 20-30+ years to keep each other and the POTUS in check.

i say vote them all out. these politics are are just getting worse. it wont matter who the next president is when theres political gridlock dividing the country.

Even going beyond the fact there hasn't been a billion trials, the fact that I regularly have to inform users on here and other forums that Trump isn't on trial for voter fraud really slams that point across. They can't even articulate what they're trying to remove him for, let alone make a case for it.

Maybe you guys should hold the elected officials you like to a higher standard instead of just trying to say everyone else who does somehow hates America?
