As someone who has taken ID for work, Indian Starus cards are totally legal forms of government issues Photo-ID. I have no idea why the bank would have an issue.

American reservations, at least the ones I have seen are pretty nice. 3 years ago I moved to Alaska and we drove up north instead of taking a plane. and we saw some Canadian First Nations reservations and they are just like little shanty towns in the middle of nowhere. crap land. crap houses. I felt bad for them. I used to live in Washington state and the Tulalip reservation was nearby and many of those people in the Tulalip tribe are rich. partly cause they own a casino ...
