what did you think of the bruce lee scene? i know bruce's daughter has said she thought it was racist iirc, did any of you think the scene was stereotypical, etc........? I know that tarrantino has denied that it was racist and and defended it.

More of an 'I dunno about it being racist' since it didn't seem that way in-universe. I suppose you could make the argument that it's a white guy embarrassing and showing up the only Asian character in the movie?

I guess mighty whitey coming and showing up Asian people is a racist trope. But this wasn't completely that. It seemed more to just be saying that he wasn't as big of a badass as everyone thought he was.
