The thing was, I had the volume on my computer halfway, but the youtube volume on full, and the vid was insanely loud for some reason. Took my a couple seconds to scramble to pause it. Now Im afraid I damaged my hearing.

Not since dealing with amplifiers for music 25 years ago. Now I'm overly cautious with volume levels and where I leave them on everything.
