Relative to when they were released, of course. Many early 3D games look shitty now but were considered to be amazing at the time of release.

Best looking bad game: WrestleMania 21 for Xbox. Those graphics were fucking mindblowing in 2005 and still look great compared to todays WWE games (easily better than piece of shit 2K20), but the game was so broken that it was the first and only time I bought a game where the developer offered free recalls and you could mail in your disc in exchange for a fixed version.

Worst looking good game: Mario Party 3. My absolute favorite board game of all time, but that game came out in 2000 and looked like it came out in 1995.

I was gonna say FF7 as worst looking good game but I didnt play it until like 15 years after it came out when the graphics had already aged horribly.

The Bouncer(2001) this games graphics and presentation were off the freaking charts. Unfortunately the gameplay and story were pretty bad, and the game was only about 3 hours long. It was that console generations Order 1776......

FF15 is also worth mentioning, one of the worst AAA games I played this console generation.
