I have just beaten the game and I'm currently going for the platinum. I know there are plenty of people here who play Borderlands.

What did y'all think about this game?

I LOVED it!

It was pretty good. This might be my favorite 4-pack of playable characters (or at least the best since the original) with FL4K being the biggest standout.

I loved the gunplay, side characters were mostly entertaining, (although I wanted to see more return, in particular half of the PCs from BL2 never came back which was disappointing) and the world were a lot of fun to explore.

Main issues kinda came from the repetitive missions structure and the main story (which especially seemed rushed and anitclimactic toward the end). Backtracking to do side content and extra missions was particularly frustrating given how few fast travel points there were

Overall a very good game that could've been excellent with a bit more polish.

I'm doing the Circle of Slaughter missions and fuck these for real

Cistern of Slaughter Round 5 glitched out on me with Bloated Rakks stuck behind invisible walls behind the arena.

Slaughterstar 3000 Round 5 is just a nightmare. Seemingly endless bullet sponge enemies all protected by NOGs, and right when you think you cleared them, endless infantry swarms you while you have to kill two more bullet sponge bosses that can kill you really fast.

Main story was good, though I felt the pace was pretty weak. Just fuck these slaughter missions.

Sounds like my problems with The Pre Sequel
Ugh

I mean the whole damn fun of playing Borderlands more than once is knowing what missions comes up and where so you can do like 5-6 missions in the same area at the same time and blow through the game quickly, leveling up as effectively as possible
It wasn't possible in the Pre Sequel because themission structure was damn stupid

You can still kinda do that. Not as much as you could in Borderlands 2, and not as little as you could in the Pre-Sequel IMO.

Tbqh Borderlands 2 beats this game is almost every way other than movement.
