In general I hate cats

How would I feel if I watch this?

This is a weird approach, like you are saying "I hate cats, so I dont care about the cat torture videos"

I watched it, the guy is a completely sick fuck and theres footage from an actual murder tape he recorded. A human, not a cat. It's not entertaining, its disturbing. Take that as you will.

I dont know honestly. Considering their goal was to identify and catch this guy, I'd think it would be forgiven.

I watched all 3 episodes tonight, I finished it about when I looked for a thread about it and posted here. I have some big questions but I'll wait until you finish it so no spoilers.

I thought it kinda sucked. They made the people hunting him down out to be sort of the good guys but they didnt even really accomplish anything. The police solved the case and caught him without any actual help from the Internet nerds. They did fuck all except encourage this dude to escalate by giving him gobs of attention, and then they want to try to guilt the documentary audience for giving him attention too? I did not know of this guys existence before this documentary was shoved in my face by Netflixs algorithm and I didnt even really care that much about him while watching it.

Yeah. And something i noticed in the first ep was that im guessing Luka with one of his burner accounts literally messaged the members 'We found your guy, its Luka Magnotta" to which they started finding videos of him poorly photoshopped travellign the world lol.

Sounds like when they werent getting anywhere, he was getting bored so he just threw them the bone to get attention again.

Just watched this over the weekend. It was an interesting watch, but yeah, the FB group ultimately accomplished nothing. A couple thoughts:

- Its crazy how easy it is to cyber stalk someone with a social media footprint. I was aware of reverse image search existing but I had no idea there was a site where you could search a photo for GPS coordinates. Thats kinda scary.

• I feel like the python bit left a lot of info out. Where did he get it? Who had the third hand?

• The Toronto police fucked up, and the excuse of the detective being on vacation three months was just him saving face. I noticed no one from Toronto was part of the documentary.

• I hated the very last segment as the guilted the audience for watching. It was cyber stalker bitch who lead to everything escalating. Watching a documentary 8 years after the fact is nowhere near the same as giving the dude the attention he wanted for two years.
