WalkingLobsters 01/08/20 9:15:16 PM #1:	Rewatching this show and seeing how vigorous and adamant Aceveda is about getting Mackey just puts into perspective how damning that one scene is. No other show would be as daring to take such a laser focused antagonist and turn him into one of the most tragic characters ever with just one pivotable scene. It also said so much: his cops weren't with him. They left him to endure one of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen on TV. A metaphor for how no one ever had his back in his pursuit of Mackey. I haven't even reached that scene yet in my rewatch and I honestly don't want to. Aceveda is just such a great character.
