Well, given the state of the U.S (where there's a mass shooting or stabbing almost every week), I think it's a good idea to have at least some form of self defense on you at all times.

You never know when some nut job decides it's a good day for a murder spree.

Well it's Texas, some people don't go anywhere unarmed. A sign saying no weapons allowed is the spots where a crazy psycho will hit. Do people get that? Nursing homes, churches, schools have proven to be the easiest and most hit targets of mass shootings. Only a few like that concert in Vegas or the nightclub in Orlando showed how easy it is for a crazy to do that and nobody could do anything to stop them.

It doesn't help the news stations give these stories massive press and in some cases, they make documentaries about the killers story and the victims are just part of the story. ANY money made by these big corporation TV stations or movies about serial killers SHOULD go to the surviving family members. They don't need to be reminded of Jeffrey Dahmer eating their loved one by going to Walmart and seeing a movie about that sick fuck

you cant apply the idea of racism we were taught about in school (from like civil war era and earlyish 1900s) to current day. Theyre completely different breeds now. Closeted fools who are afraid to be open about it let alone act upon it.

Oh and to answer your question TCno, I dont think there needs to be a push to arm more churchgoers. I think that the government and states need to keep their hands off our rights so that people who DO want to conceal or open carry wherever they goeven if that is churchto defend themselves and their countrymen from threats, can do so.

Having every person in that church armed wouldnt have changed him getting off a shot or two like he did. However, having none of those people armed would have resulted in a complete fucking massacre. Thats a fact, and is not subjective, nor up for debate.
